14 February 2013

The owner of the outsourcing company Itransition and the software testing company A1QA Sergey Gvardeitsev is planning to increase the number of employees in both companies up to 10 thousand by 2020.

He says there are 900 people employed by Intransition at present. During 2012 200 people joined the team. The staff of A1QA is 250 specialists. “We are motivated to hire another 350 in 2013, ” Sergey Gvardeitsev adds.

According to the company development plan for the next 7 years, in 2,5 years the number of employees will triple and by 2020 the total amount of staff including overseas offices will equal 10 000 .

Currently, Itransition has offices in the USA, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Estonia and Russia. Sergey Gvardeitsev said that the company is planning to expand into American and British markets.

In his opinion, the most promising direction in outsourcing and testing is mobile applications, data migration and SAP expertise. He is not considering to switch from outsourcing business model to the development of the company’s own product. “Such a decision should have been taken when the company was just established. It’s too late to make radical changes”, the businessman commented.

Itransition is one of the biggest Belarusian outsourcing companies and has been the Hi-Tech Park resident since 2006. The company’s activities cover the whole range of services in the spheres of custom software development, system integration, IT consulting, software maintenance and web-development.

The company is regularly mentioned on highly respected international rating lists of software development companies. In 2012 Itransition became a winner of the national professional contest “Brand of the year 2012” in the nomination “Corporate Brand Responsibility. The Best Employer”.
